"Everything changed for me when I found Positive Discipline. It was my lightbulb moment- a philosophy that truly aligned with who I was and that actually, consistently worked with all of my nanny charges. I've taken two in-person Positive Discipline classes through Sproutable, and my understanding of Positive Discipline has gone to the next level."

~Danielle, Nanny

I just wanted to let you know I really appreciated everything you have brought to my awareness with parenting. If there ever was a child whom you helped have a better Dad, I'd definitely say I am one of them... & I say that with humility.”

Positive Discipline

Dr. Jane Nelsen’s Positive Discipline parent education is based on the theories of psychologists Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs. Positive Discipline helps your child feel a sense of significance and belonging through learning important life skills of empowerment, self-reliance and cooperation. This parenting style encourages kindness and firmness at the same time.
Positive Discipline logo
Kindness is the way we interact and connect with our children, honoring their dignity and respecting their needs.
Firmness is the way we respect ourselves and the needs of the situation, as well as following through with what we say we are going to do.
